About Ellen

After three years experience in early childhood and elementary education, I'm looking to shift from the classroom to a more individualized setting. I've worked with groups aged 2 years up to 8th grade in classroom, summer camp, and sports settings. I have additionally been blessed to have experience and additional trainings working with children with various disabilities. These opportunities have allowed me to learn how to adapt to each child's unique needs and interests to present them with the most engaging and developmentally appropriate activities to support their growth. A little about me, I'm a very energetic and curious person by nature. As a retired college athlete, I love spending free time outdoors and being active. I also really enjoy anything DIY or crafty, I'm currently learning how to improve my sewing abilities. Another of my favorite hobbies is learning more about science and medicine (huge biology nerd). I am currently looking for a full-time, consistent position.
