About Ellen

Hi, my name is Ellie! I am from Broadway, VA. I am a current senior at Messiah University studying to become an occupational therapist. My experience with babysitting started at a young age, helping with childcare at my church. In high school, I started official part-time babysitting gigs and lifeguarding. The skills I have gained through lifeguarding, such as first aid, attention to detail, and communication have helped me become a great babysitter. I also have experience volunteering at an overnight camp for kids and adults with mental and physical disabilities. My daily role was taking full care of a camper with Cerebral Palsy. I learned so much through that experience, gaining the necessary skills to help provide childcare for kids and adults with special needs.
