About Ellen

I have had experience with child care in a nannying and babysitting capacity for 10 years, and have been elementary level support staff in a special education classroom for high support needs students for 2 years. My speciality is working with children with special needs, but I am also comfortable and experienced working with neurotypical children. I am seeking employment late-June through late-August only, as I return to work at my school full time when the school year begins. Working with kids brings me so much joy! I love to support children on their journeys learning about their interests, following their curiosity, and exploring the world around them. I am comfortable working with kids who speak Spanish at home and am also interested in teaching and developing Spanish and/or English Second Language skills with your child!
