I hired Ellen to watch our then-6 month old son part time when I went back to work. From the start Ellen has been a true partner in raising our son. She kept diligent notes each day, made great recommendations about how to tweak his schedule to squeeze in more tummy time, how to introduce solids, what toys are best at different stages & took a deep overall interest in all areas of his development - and clearly loves this work. She made fresh purees, did his laundry & also helped with dishes and cleaning in the kitchen. She also took him out for adventures and had him making beautiful art from the beginning. Even with daycare, I wanted to continue our relationship with Ellen because he loves her & it has been such a support. Ellen now picks our toddler up at daycare 1 day/week (we are flex on the day). She still makes food for him to eat & freeze, does his laundry & helps clean the kitchen. Ellen is reliable and flexible, takes the job seriously but also makes it fun. Could not recommend Ellen more!
