About Ellen

I'm a college student home for the summer looking for caregiving work. I have seven years of experience caring for children of various ages. I also worked as a sailing instructor for 3 years and loved working with kids. My patient, calm, creative, and friendly personality allows me to easily connect with children and create a safe and nurturing environment. I understand the importance of communication and I provide verbal updates during pickup, send regular text messages or phone calls throughout the day, and always follow the parents' preferred communication method to ensure they are well-informed about their child's day and any issues that may arise. I'm comfortable caring for up to four children at a time and have experience with children aged 0-11. I'm happy to follow the parents' lead regarding household rules and expectations. I am also CPR and first aid certified.
