About Ellen

Hi, I'm Ellie! I have a Bachelor's in Elementary Education about 10 years of babysitting experience with many families. I also have 3 years of 1:1 experience supporting children with Autism and other special needs, which was valuable and very enjoyable. I've worked as a lead teacher in Pre-K, 2nd, and 3rd grade classrooms. I enjoy finding teachable moments and helping with academic support. I focus on kindness, manners, limited screen time, outdoor activity, and overall growth. I love being silly, laughing, and having fun with kids while maintaining a safe and structured environment. I can be firm when needed, especially with routines or expectations you want reinforced, but overall I'm easy-going and compassionate. I aim to help children feel supported and confident. I'm also timely, trustworthy, and dependable, and I truly enjoy building caring relationships with the children I support. I'd love to connect with your family.
