About Ellen

Hello! My name is Ellen, and I've been a childcare provider for over 20 years. I am currently available two days a week and there is flexibility in which days. While raising and homeschooling my own 3 children, I also provided full time care for 3 different families over 13 years. I worked at Head Start for 8 years- primarily as the cooking/nutrition supervisor. In addition to healthy meal planning and preparation, I assisted and substitute taught in the classroom. I have been a nanny for the past 15 years, sharing my time across 6 different families, some overlapping. The past year I have been and continue as a nanny for a local Raleigh family. I love to take walks, go to parks, museums, swimming, and the library. I've always been very conscious of the home and keep the living spaces very neat and orderly. I am fairly new to the Raleigh area and I look forward to meeting families and continuing to explore your beautiful city.
