Hi there, my name is Elleigh! I have been a nanny for a little over 10 years now, I have experience with all ages (I also have a 6-month-old of my own), infant-16 years old. I have worked with families with multiples, special needs, and up to 5 kids at a time! I am more than willing to help out with house chores that pertain to the child(ren). I have a reliable car & open availability! The best fit for us would be to find someone to drop off their child to us in Westfield, but I would be open to going to yours as well!

Unfortunately, our situation with Elleigh did not end well. I will preface this review by saying she was wonderful with my 2 little ones, and she was super helpful around the house. We truly thought that this was going to be a great long-term working relationship. My husband works out of the home and I work remotely from home. My job is such that I have a team of people counting on me to help meet project deadlines. If I do not have help, if someone is not watching my girls, I cannot work. Period. Elleigh was with us for about 4 months.

On at least 3 occasions she overslept and showed up to work hours late. I was very gracious and spoke to her about setting multiple alarms to be here on time. From the very beginning of this job, I told her I need her to be punctual so that I can start my day. She was never early and almost always 10-15 minutes late. So I had to have another conversation with her about being on time. On several occasions she asked off to travel to see family or have off while family was visiting in town. This cut into my working hours, but I was willing to work with her as long as I knew in advance. When we went on vacation for a week and a half, I offered work for her to do around the house so that she wouldn’t suffer financially. 

Cut to the day she quit – I received a text 10 minutes before she was supposed to be at work (I didn’t see it until 10 min. after she should have been here) asking for the day off because her grandparents need to leave a day early and they are all very sad. I proceeded to call her (no answer) and text her asking “What time? I have a lot of work to do and you missed work yesterday too. You are also going to be out for an entire week.” She had missed more than half the day before (which means I did not work) because she lost her phone, ID and debit card over the weekend. I keep calling, texting and no response. Finally, she replies and says (in a nutshell) that this isn’t working out because I am unaccommodating, that I keep her late without hesitation and that I haven’t paid her for receipts she has given me, but if I want to keep her for nights and weekends, we can do that. I was COMPLETELY blindsided! Not ONCE did she ever bring up one of these issues to me and we have talked about being open and communicating. On several occasions, I checked in to see if we could be doing anything better, but she said everything was good. I did owe her money for gas, which happened the day before we went on vacation, and it completely slipped my mind. Had she reminded me I would have paid her back right away! I would never cheat someone out of money I owe them. Hindsight – we should have had an expense report sheet going for this very reason.  As for keeping her late, she knew there would be times when I had calls and I might need her to stay longer then the agreed upon end time. If this was the case, would ask her if she could stay longer so I could wrap things up and she would say yes without hesitation. Almost every day SHE offered to stay later to help finish cleaning up, which I thought was so helpful. On the day she quit, she said she would call me later after her grandparents left for the day but I never received a call. I got one more text from her saying she called me twice and could I please put her last check in the mail. I never had any missed calls or voicemails from her. I proceeded to call and text her for the following 3 days and received no communication back. All of my texts said delivered. Her voicemail was full so I couldn’t leave a message. I told her that I did not feel comfortable with sending a check in the mail without having a conversation and that I would prefer she schedule a time to come by and pick up her last payment. Still no response from her. So I had her last payment processed through homepay and texted her to let her know when it was complete. Still no word. ZERO COMMUNICATION. I missed out on 4 full days of work because she decided to quit when it became an inconvenience for her. We all have people we wish we could spend more time with, but we also have responsibilities and commitments we need to uphold. Because she didn’t show up to do her job, I couldn’t show up to do mine. Elleigh is unprofessional and undependable. She took advantage of my kindness and generosity and ruined what could have been a long-lasting relationship. Hopefully she doesn’t do this to anyone else in the future. 


Sweet girl, great with the kids. Willing to help out last minute and stay late. Provides educational entertainment instead of screen time and motivates the older kids to clean up after themselves while keeping up with the baby!

Elleigh was our family assistant/nanny for almost a year! She traveled with us monthly and took the kids to the lake house solo all summer. She's fun and dependable! We miss you!!!

I hired Elleigh as my summer nanny. She was responsible, on time, caring, loving and overall just great. She made sure my children had their medicine on time, took them on outings, and overall kept them happy and content. I would take her back in a heartbeat but unfortunately she has moved away. I hope someone can enjoy her as much as our family did.

She showed up on time every time but once, called out last minute once which we excused as everyone has flukes. Our son was fed and home safe with me sleeping upstairs in case of emergencies. A few things made us increasingly less happy with her caring for our son so we let her go.

Elleigh has cared for our son since he was 6 months old and he is now 13 months old. She has always come when we asked, has covered with another nanny when she takes off for being sick, and most importantly our son loves her. He gets so excited when she comes in the morning! We loved having Elleigh in our home and seeing how patient and caring she was with A.

I hired Elleigh and was extremely excited about her nannying for my son once I returned from maternity leave. I just received this text message from her THE NIGHT BEFORE I GO BACK TO WORK! "hey, so over the weekend i was offered another job that i really could not refuse and i went today to see if i liked it and i did. sorry for such short notice, but i didn't want to say anything if i wasn't sure!"
She completely screwed me. I'm so upset. I trusted her. I brought her into my home twice last week to meet my son. I cannot put into words how upset I am.

My husband and I were in a bind and needed last minute care. Elleigh was available and willing to stay as long as we needed. Our son, J., talked about her the next morning and asked if she'd come back. Perfect job 

We hired her for a few nights in a row to babysit our infant while we were on a work trip. She arrived on time, stayed over night, and then even stayed longer than the asked time. The house was clean when we got back as well! 

We were so sad when we lost Elleigh as our nanny. My 3 year old son was so attached to her, it seemed like they were always doing something fun/creative. I would definitely have kept her if we could have, but personal things happened with my family and care was no longer needed. 5 star girl!
