Learning should be an exciting journey! My focus is on building confidence and a love for learning, not just memorization. I aim to create an engaging, supportive, and patient environment. I actively listen to students and observe their initial interactions with new material. I encourage open communication and seek feedback, including regular parental check-ins. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples, celebrate small successes, and encourage curiosity through interactive discussions. Communication is essential for understanding needs, progress, and setting clear expectations. It builds trust, and regular updates help parents stay informed. I have some college experience and can help with Math, English, Science, Study Skills, and History at the Elementary and Middle School levels. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I am comfortable tutoring at a student's home, a teacher's home, online, or at a coffee shop.
