About Ella

My name is Ella and I've basically been caring for kids since I was a kid myself! I'm the oldest of four and have spent my entire professional career in education, with my primary focus being on outdoor/experiential ed. After college I spent some time as an au pair in Madrid. Additionally, I''ve worked at an outdoor science school in CA, a survival camp in OR, wilderness therapy in UT, and most recently running the Outdoor Adventures Program at UNH. I made a return to full time nannying a few years ago caring for two families, one with newborn twins and the other with a toddler and newborn. I still regularly act as a travel nanny for one of those families. I am on Block Island full time and take both recurring and one time jobs. Happy to help your children explore the island while you get some r&r, enjoy a romantic dinner, attend a wedding etc.
