We hired Ella for 8 days of dog sitting. The job is VERY easy - let the dogs out of their crates and feed them twice a day. No walks, no picking up poop, no meds, etc. After agreeing to the job with explicit instructions and expectations, Ella mentioned that "the job is boring". She asked 3 times to bring her own dog to our house, which I clearly said no to from the very beginning. She "forgot" to let me know until we'd already left that she would be away an entire day for prior commitments, therefore needing to have someone else come take care of the dogs. I should have known at this point that she wouldn't be very committed but I had no time left to find a replacement. After day 4, I noticed that she was only letting our 2 large dogs out of their crates for a total of 90 minutes a day. I was heartbroken and shared my concern with her directly and her response was that she got an opportunity to move and became busy. Her communication skills and care for animals is very lacking.
