About Ella

It’s difficult to measure the value of someone caring for your child, especially through something as simple as a five star rating scale. It’s impossible putting a price or metric on something like that, and Ella’s care for our child was truly invaluable during an incredibly difficult period of time where we needed the support. Ella was consistently on time, communicated clearly, and adapted to our changing schedules each and every day. She followed our routines closely and even offered suggestions to improve certain aspects of our child’s daily schedule; feeding, naps, brainstorming new and unique ideas for sleep training, all the while prioritizing safety. We appreciated the quick updates and photos Ella would send us during the day, as well as her habit of noting naps, bottles, diapers, and any little changes she noticed. She recommended an app for us to download so that we could monitor everything she shared from the convenience of our phones during the day. With our child, she was warm, engaging, kind and loving. Ella truly cares about and loves our child, and we feel as though we’ve added another member to our family by being lucky enough to find and hire her. From reading books, singing songs, going for walks, and setting up age-appropriate sensory play, Ella always worked towards helping J. reach milestones like crawling, rolling over, pulling to stand, and speaking his first “baby babble” words, all in a calm, supportive way that matched our parenting style. Around the house, Ella kept play areas tidy and left things better than she found them. She respected our home, our rules, and fit in seamlessly, even with our dogs (three of them!) in the mix. Most importantly, our child adored her. We felt complete trust leaving him in her care, and we would happily work with Ella again. Her combination of empathy, kindness, thoughtful and organized attention to developmental milestones, and genuine care for children give her a unique and valuable skillset.
