About Eliza

Hi! I'm an experienced educator with a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Vermont and a background working in the Burlington School District. I've worked with elementary students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds, including multilingual learners, and I'm currently working toward my full teaching license for a classroom role this fall. I've also taught in a trauma-informed preschool and have strong experience providing one-on-one support to students with a range of learning needs and abilities. I focus on building skills in reading, writing, and math while creating a supportive, engaging environment where learning feels approachable and fun. I'm patient, reliable, and dedicated to helping each child grow in confidence and ability. I'm currently looking for consistent tutoring work for the summer
