About Eliza

Hi, I'm Eliza! I've been working with children for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I've gained experience through babysitting, working at a daycare, teaching ski lessons, and through my coursework. I earned my degree in Elementary Education from UVM, and for the past two years, I've been a preschool teacher at a therapy-based school here in Burlington. Working with young has shown me how important it is to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. I'm patient, calm, creative, and friendly, and I love playing games that encourage learning, movement, and imagination. If you're looking for a sitter who is experienced, attentive, creative/crafty and genuinely passionate about childcare, I'd love the chance to connect and learn more about your family! I am currently working 3 to 4 days a week for a lovely family until July 11th. Until then I am available every Friday. After that I will be available five days a week until the school year starts.
