About Eliza

I have a background in early childhood development and education, with 10+ years of childcare experience. My Bachelor's degree is in Developmental Forensic Psychology. I am passionate about children and believe in age-appropriate positive reinforcement and interactive play. I am kind and easygoing, with a calm upbeat attitude. I love trips to the park, dance parties, arts and crafts, and sports. After graduating from college, I spent a couple of years in behavioral intervention and respite care work with children with ASD & ADHD; including a year as a homeschool/remote-learning aide. I also spent a semester working as a TA at PS29 in the Library and STEM department with grades K-5. I am trained in First Aid & CPR and have also been background checked/fingerprinted with the DOE and DSS. I have a driver's license with a clean record and access to a car. COVID-negative; testing regularly. Open to working with a bubble/multiple families. Excellent references upon request.
