Hi! I'm Eliza and I have experience working with kids from age 5 to teens. I have a BA in English Lit from Dartmouth and an MA in Contemporary Art from Sotheby's. I grew up in Los Angeles and am currently living in Woodland Hills. I am patient, creative, and caring. A 10-year-old I nanny for recently told me "you make homework fun" so that made my year. I am currently looking for long-term part-time childcare roles as I build my business helping students apply to college as an independent college counselor. I was previously the Assistant Director of an education nonprofit. I have previous experience as a dogwalker/dogsitter & a catsitter. I was previously certified in Adult & Child CPR and a First Responder. I am also happy to help with homework, errands, pet care, and very light housekeeping (think dishes & laundry). I have a car, a clean driving record, and am happy to help with school/extracurricular pickups & dropoffs. Feel free to reach out to see if we may be a good fit!
Eliza has been such a wonderful addition to our family. My daughter A. absolutely loves her, and from the start it was clear there was a genuine connection. A. has told me how supported, understood, and comfortable she feels with Eliza, and she is truly thriving because of it. They’ve built a great after-school routine together, and it has brought so much ease and stability to A.’s days. Eliza picks A. up from school three days a week, helps with homework, and spends quality time with her. Sometimes they’ll go to the park or run little errands together, or head to the library, and A. really looks forward to those outings. Eliza has a great way of making everyday moments feel fun and special. From my perspective as a parent, Eliza is incredibly responsible, organized, and communicative. She’s flexible and thoughtful, and she often goes above and beyond without being asked, things like tidying up or emptying the dishwasher just to help out. That level of initiative has meant a lot, especially while balancing work, school schedules, appointments, and all the usual family logistics. When I asked A. what she loves most about Eliza, her answers said it all: • She’s super funny and nice • She’s really good with kids • She makes “boring stuff” like homework and even chores fun We feel very lucky to have Eliza, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a caring, dependable, and genuinely wonderful caregiver.
