I'd describe my personality as fun, considerate, and patient. I like working with kids because every day is a new adventure in exploration and discovery. I like to talk to the kids I nanny about their worldview and dreams and make up games with them. It's exciting to be a small part of someone's growth. I'm looking for a job that is flexible with my schedule as a musician. I'm home for weeks at a time, and then tour for 2-3 week chunks a couple of times a year. One-time jobs or "date night" gigs are great, too. I started working with kids 16 years ago, as a mom's helper for a 3mo. Recently, I worked as an after school caregiver for 3 kids ages 10-12. We spent afternoons exploring new parks, going for long walks, doing scavenger hunts. In my spare time, I rock climb, read, play cards, sew. One thing you should know about me is I'm non binary/trans and use they/them pronouns. My skills include creative problem solving, boundary setting, and maintaining a high energy level.
