About Elizabeth

I'd describe my personality as friendly and encouraging. I like working with kids because of their energy and curiosity. I'm looking for jobs that give me a chance to spend time playing, laughing, and helping kids to find their way - whether with an infant practicing sounds, toddlers learning letters, or tutoring for school work as well as developing love for music, imagination, sports, etc. I love all the possibility that kids hold and want to help them explore the world even in our little time together. I started working with kids when I was 12. I nannied for several days a week when I was 15, between undergrad and grad school, and then again in grad school. Then there have been many years in between all that just dropping in for families when needed. In my spare time I like to craft, walk my dog, read novels, bake, and sing. I have a full-time job working for a non-profit, so I am looking to supplement both my income and joy with evening and weekend time watching kiddos.
