Mother of 3 boys. I enjoy helping people big, small, young and young at heart. I have experience with youngsters from my own and in my younger years. My more recent care experience is with more aged individuals for the last 12 years. I've worked with Long term care, Hospice, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Special needs, Skilled/Therapy and last but not least Companion -in home care. I've helped with ADL's, which includes bathing, feeding, transfers, dressing, changing, etc. I've cooked, cleaned, provided an ear, a shoulder, comfort, and a smile. Most of the care I have provided has been in a nursing home setting, which I enjoyed immensely and learned a great deal, but I felt it was missing something. I didn't have the time to actually hang out, chat, visit and get to know my residents/patients. I felt I couldn't truly do my job the way I believed it needed to be done. I have several homecare references if needed.

This girl is fantastic with the elderly who has dementia, agitation issues and hallucinations!! I wish I had found her long before I did! She is great, calm, loving to her patients, treats them as her own family. She did "Spa days" with my mother in law!! She brought items from her own home such as books, playing cards, puzzles etc when my mother in law was having those agitation issues she would work to distract her!!! She was fantastic!!!!
