About Elizabeth

Mother of 3 boys. I enjoy helping people big, small, young and young at heart. I have experience with youngsters from my own and in my younger years. My more recent care experience is with more aged individuals for the last 9 years. I've worked with Long term care, Hospice, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Special needs, Skilled/Therapy and last but not least Companion -in home care. I've helped with ADL's, which includes bathing, feeding, transfers, dressing, changing, etc. I've cooked, cleaned, provided an ear, a shoulder, comfort, and a smile. Most of the care I have provided has been in a nursing home setting, which I enjoyed immensely and learned a great deal, but I felt it was missing something. I didn't have the time to actually hang out, chat, visit and get to know my residents/patients. I felt I couldn't truly do my job the way I believed it needed to be done.
