About Elizabeth

Hi! I'm Elizabeth, a mom and special education teacher. About me I spend most of my time with children, my 3-year-old daughter at home and 20 more kids at school. My daughter and I love being outdoors, doing crafts, and cooking together. Professionally, I have worked with students of all ages and abilities, but my heart is in working with children with emotional and behavioral challenges, autism, and ADHD. This summer I will start my grad program studying Autism Spectrum Disorders. Qualifications I have 7+ years of paid childcare experience in daycares, as a para, and now as a special education teacher. I am in my 5th year of teaching. This year, I am teaching K-8 Resource Special Education. I hold 2 Arizona teaching certificates, Cross Categorical Special Ed K-12 and General Ed K-8, plus a valid Level 1 Fingerprint card and CPR certification.
