I've had all 3 covid vaccination shots & have my records card signed & dated. I have worked with dev-disabled adults and children for over 20 years now. I've worked in DDA-certified group homes as well as provided respite care for family caregivers in private homes. I believe that developmentally-disabled people are very similar to us, in that they love getting outside on beautiful days as well as taking part in community activities and enjoy good times with family and friends. And, like the rest of us, they like to voice their individual opinions and ideas about a wide variety of topics. I believe they're entitled to make choices and decisions concerning a wide variety of issues that affect their lives, to the best of their ability, both cognitive and otherwise. I am currently certified in Adult/Child/Infant First Aid & CPR. I am available for daytime caregiving jobs, date-night babysitting, or overnight assignments when family caregivers need respite care or want to travel.

Elizabeth provided care for my mother from early 2000 until the time of her death in July 2003. Elizabeth provided personal care to include, bathing, feeding, giving medication and changing of diapers. Often, she would cook a meal for the family. She worked a 12-hour shift from 10pm to 10am but could be counted on to fill in at the last moment when another caregiver was unable to report. Elizabeth is very knowledgeable about Alzheimer's and dementia which was very helpful to my father and myself. She took my mother on walks which was extremely helpful as an outlet for her need for exercise and helped with her tendency to wander. Elizabeth is professional, warm and friendly. We couldn't have gotten through this difficult time and difficult disease without the loving care provided by Elizabeth. She was so reliable unlike other care providers we engaged. I can't say enough about Elizabeth. Anyone who receives her care can be assured that their loved one will receive exceptional care.
