Over the past year I have nannied for several families part time ranging from infants to toddlers to school agers. For the 2024 school year I have an after school job lined up but I may have some morning and Friday / weekend availability. I'd describe my personality as fun yet sensible and easygoing. I've been babysitting and nannying off and on since I was in middle school. I'm comfortable driving kids to and from activities, taking them on excursions, light housework, and just hanging out with them and making them dinner so parents can get a much deserved date night out! I'm comfortable with pets and have a dog myself so if pet sitting is needed I'm also available for that type of work. I'm looking for a part time role near my home in Grand Rapids and would love to see if I'm a good fit for your family.

Libby (Elizabeth) has been a part-time nanny for my son for the past 9 months, starting from when he was 9 months old. She has done an outstanding job for us and we would highly recommend her! She is very reliable, communicative, and honest, and most importantly my son absolutely loves spending time with her. She handles snacks and meals, bath times, activities, reading, outdoor play, and naps all with little to no direction from me. She is also very proactive in finding enriching activities for my son to do, such as community story time at the library. She is happy to help with housework (dishes, laundry, etc.) and running errands like grocery shopping. She has also been very flexible and easy to work with for our hectic schedules. My son has gone through a lot of developmental changes in the past 9 months and Libby has done a great job at helping him find developmentally appropriate activities and helping him to reach new milestones. It can be very stressful to find a good nanny, but I can firmly assure you that Libby is responsible, caring, and loving as a caretaker.
