I have 2 years of experience working with children as a Lead Teacher in a daycare; this includes working with children on the Autism spectrum. I also have 5 years experience being an HCA (Home Care Aid) and my license is still active. I mostly worked with adults who have disabilities (physical and mental). I worked a lot with a non ambulatory and non verbal cerebral palsy client which included G-Tube feeding. I do hold nurse delegate certification and diabetes nurse delegate certification. So I'm very comfortable with special needs. I've completed the 35 hour CCB training through the state of Washington. I now have one child of my own; he is 2 years old. He has hearing loss and cerebral palsy. So I'm actively gaining experience in that area as well. If you have any questions please reach out!
