About Elizabeth

I'd describe my personality as someone who loves Jesus with all my heart I like working with kids because I get to enjoy watching them see the world and it's almost like I get to see it for the first time myself! I love to be present with children and make them feel seen and heard. I started working with kids when I was 12 as a junior helper at church. Since then, I continued to serve in children's ministry, worked in a day care for 5 years, and I had my own Girl Scout troop. I also have had previous nanny positions. I currently serve in youth at church. In my spare time, I like to read, listen to podcasts, or learn something new like baking bread. I also enjoy being outside in the warm months and go hiking on a regular basis. My skills include active listening, wanting to understand circumstances and incidents before responding. I also love to keep kids busy away from electronics and screens and do my best to help them find creative ways to play through their moments of boredom.
