I have an older brother with severe cerebral palsy. I have grown up having to assist in caring for my brother. This has also why I am passionate in helping those with special needs. During college I cared for a young girl with autistic tendencies. Currently, I work as a patient care assistant and am an EMT at Norwalk Hospital. Caring for my brother has inspired me to go into the medical field and work with special needs children. I will be going to nursing school in August 2019.
