I cannot recommend this caregiver based on my experience. She proved to be very unreliable during the short time we worked together. She called out the morning of three out of the four days she was scheduled to watch our son, each time letting me know only at the last minute. Although she said she was sick—which I understand can happen—I still had to find alternative childcare with no notice. Despite telling me “see you Monday,” she did not show up on time that day. She was 30 minutes late, did not answer my call and at that point via text, she informed me that an emergency had come up and that she could no longer continue working for us for the term we had agreed upon. While emergencies and illnesses can occur, the lack of communication and consistency caused significant stress for our family. Based on this experience, I would not hire her again.
