My name is Elizabeth. I have been a caregiver for 16 years. I'm very outgoing with an eye for attention to detail. My experience comes from previous clients with ALS, Parkinsons, cancer, diabetic, hospice care/end of life, extensive knowledge in clients who have Alzheimers/Dementia. Many clients were bed bound and 100% dependent, knowledge w. feeding tubes and cathers. I will help with daily grooming, feedings, wound care, excersize, companionship & mental stimulation. I have transfer as well as hoyer lift experience. I love to cook/bake, and prep meals. I have been house manager for clients, and coordinated their care with Drs and caregivers/scheduling and medication mgmnt. I can be avail 24hrs. My objective to caretaking is to make sure the client is engaged, clean, happy, and able to enjoy their life at home. Helping them maintain that is so rewarding to me. I was so glad to have found someone with so much hands on experience. Elizabeth is the kind of caregiver that brings so much to the table. She was wonderful with my mom. When things got really bad she jumped in and helped us navigate through the toughest time. We were suddenly dealing with hospice and oxygen and all the meds that come with it and she helped me through it showing me how to use equipment and when it was time to use the meds she guided me. She did our overnight shifts and was there for my mom when everyone else was asleep. I was never nervous or worried when she was there. She never laxed or wavered in watching out for her. I joked with her one night about no alarm?!? She didn’t have to set an alarm she was on automatic every hour with my mom. I know this becasue I would sleep in the room with her and look over and there she was with my mom. Elizabeth also recommended a person to us to hire. With her recommendation we knew this person would be great as well and she was. To anyone looking for an outstanding caregiver Elizabeth is perfect in every way. I highly recommend her and know you would be so glad you gave her the opportunity!
