Experienced Montessori Toddler & Infant Caregiver

I am currently working as a Lead Toddler Guide at a Montessori school in Springfield, VA. My Montessori experience has taught me the importance of encouraging childhood independence, grace and courtesy, and enriching children's language and development.

I have extensive experience caring for toddlers and infants, as well as children of different ages. I am experienced with toilet learning I understand how important consistency, patience, and a nurturing approach are during these stages.

I am MAT trained and completed two professional development certifications in 2023. 

I speak both English and Spanish and am fully vaccinated and boosted.

Elizabeth was so kind, professional, and patient with our 4-year-old daughter. She even visited briefly before our first booking so that our daughter could meet her and get comfortable and familiar with her. She has impressive teaching credentials and you can see the passion she has for kids when she talks about caretaking. We would certainly hire her again--our daughter is already asking when she will come play a second time! 

Elizabeth was/is amazing with my toddler. She thinks of many fun activities that make her laugh. She also teaches her so much. Elizabeth is always organized and professional and even arrives early to our house. We are so grateful that we found her!

We needed a babysitter for a dinner event and Elizabeth was amazing. We were a bit nervous as first time parents but after meeting her we had no doubt. She did bath and bedtime which wasn’t the easiest with our 11 months old who is learning to fall asleep on his own. And she was wonderful with him, I would recommend her and hire her again for sure!

Elizabeth is absolutely wonderful!! She is amazing with my baby (10 months old) and extremely knowledgeable and kind! She is always on time, super communicative, provides updates, very warm and sweet and so easy to talk to! She is an amazing influence for children and we are SO happy we found her to help with our baby! 
We were so nervous to trust someone with watching our son for the first time, and meeting Elizabeth put us at ease! You will love her as much as your babies/kids do! 

Ms. Elizabeth is simply amazing. 

She sat for us regularly for 2+ years (since our child was 1.5 years old).  She's gives the best care and is always reliable and on time.  

 She is the child whisperer.  She is responsible, responsive, reliable, respectful, and discreet.  


My son adores her, and he's an introvert. 
My son's best friend adores her, and he's an extrovert. 

She listens well and is adaptable to your care needs and priorities. 

E.g. When we had her sit my friends' children all together, it was a miracle how she responded perfectly to each parent's needs, even with very different parenting styles and personalities.  And masterfully worked with the kids as a group even though they spanned 4 years in age, and she'd only met half of them before then. My friends were all seeking her out after that, but sadly they live too far away.

I am confident that my child is not just safe with her, but is loved and growing and developing in the very best ways possible.

I simply cannot recommend her with sufficient praise.

(Also, she has a graco 4-ever car seat, so she can do outings for infants through Pre-K without you needing to transfer your car seat to her car to do so, if you want to get the kid out of the house for a bit so you can do a project at home).

Of all the caregivers I’ve met in the last decade, Ms Elizabeth is number one. Her energy is welcoming, she’s a great conversationalist with us, with our child, and with the pets. Thanks for everything you do. We appreciate you being a part of our family. 

She is a excellent babysitter, always on time, My son love spending time with her.

Elizabeth was fantastic! She was very responsive, prompt, and a natural with our son. We felt comfortable with her right away. She was even great with our nutty dog. 

Highly recommend Elizabeth. I have hired her for occasional babysitting for my two daughters and each time she has been great with them. Elizabeth has all the qualities a mom would look for in a babysitter. She’s super patient, friendly, very attentive, playful with my girls and always on time. Also she’s a big believer in communication. 

Elizabeth has watched our daughter twice and we could not recommend her enough. We met Elizabeth on Care.com and she came over to meet our family and chat prior to watching our girl. Elizabeth is punctual, friendly, caring, and empathic. Our daughter seems to have so much fun with Elizabeth and plays the entire time they're together. Our dog can be rather rambunctious when someone new comes over and Elizabeth was so understanding and patient with him. She provided us with photos and videos throughout her visit and a thorough update when we got home. Elizabeth has a strong knowledge on development and age appropriate play. She was so great with our daughter and we'll absolutely be calling her again.

Elizabeth is the best babysitter and is wonderful with our son, F. We've hired her numerous times for date nights and she's always early, takes great care of our son, and has fun! She's a toddler Montessori teacher and is great with kids. We love working with Elizabeth and look forward to continuing to work with her for babysitting care for our son. Hire her, you won't regret it!

We just used Elizabeth as a babysitter for our two year old. She was amazing! She came early so we could over his routine. He took to her pretty quickly. She sent us lots of photos and videos while we were out. It was our first date night in over 5 months, first time using a babysitter. She was great in calming my nerves. She was able to even put him to sleep. I'm so happy we found Elizabeth. We definitely will be using her again soon.

Elizabeth watched my 2.5 year old daughter and I can't wait to re-hire her!  She was very confident, patient, and comfortable with taking care of my daughter, and was very engaged and played with her in an age-appropriate manner.  My daughter was very comfortable right away, and she usually can be apprehensive to caretakers outside of her family.  I received updates from Elizabeth while I was away, and she also tidied up the play area and kitchen even though I did not ask her to.

Elizabeth is kind, reliable, thoughtful, responsive, extremely knowledgeable and proactive.   She's taken care of our two children (ages 6 months and 2 1/2) and we trust her wholeheartedly. Elizabeth's Montessori guide/teacher training is invaluable.  She draws from her years of experience and knows how to best stimulate and interact children in a positive, supportive and enriching manner.   I injured my knee and couldn't walk or drive and Elizabeth proactively offered to help us transport the kids without us asking.  This is just one small example of how caring and proactive she is.  Finally,  as she notes in her profile, she's fully vaccinated and boosted is also CPR-certified and bilingual (Spanish/English).  She wears a mask inside and, of course, practices good hand washing hygiene.  You'll be hard pressed to find a better person to care for your children!

Elizabeth was absolutely wonderful with our two boys.  She sent videos and kept us up to date.  Elizabeth picked up and left the house as she found it. Absolutely wonderful.  Will definitely rehire. And I know our sons would look forward to it.
