About Elizabeth

Hi, my name is Eliza-Hope I am a psychology and creative writing major at UNCA with 6+ years of child care experience working with kids ages 6 months- 11 years! I currently work as an after school facilitator with k-2 students. I am adaptable, engaged and energetic, with a vested interest in building kids up and encouraging them to get excited about exploring the world around them! Caretaking for me is not just about safety and supervision- I make an effort to really get engaged in play and activities, and work to build trust and friendship- though I can be firm when necessary and have no problem enforcing rules. I approach discipline gently, with careful consideration. I am a patient caretaker with experience working to meet the unique needs of kids on the autism spectrum and kids with behavioral differences. I have a reliable Honda and a clean driving record. I am happy to go on lots of adventures and assist with any household needs! Looking forward to meeting you!
