My father suffered with COPD, emphysema, Type II diabetes, lung cancer, and kidney failure/dialysis for many years and I helped to take care of him until his passing. I also cared for my grandmother who suffered from osteoporosis and dementia for several years. Presently, I'm a companion to my very healthy 85-year-old mother that needs assistance with doctor appointments, grocery shopping and diet/medication management.
