About Elizabeth

I like working with kids because I am currently in nursing school and pediatrics is what I want to specialize in once I graduate! I started working with kids when I was 16 years old (now 23). I started off with babysitting and then was a camp counselor during high school. While being in nursing school I have been in numerous hospital units that are specific for pediatrics such as the ER and ICU. In my spare time, I like to take my dog to parks and walking trails, exercising is very important to me! I also like to go to a coffee shops to catch up with any friends I haven't seen. While being in school I do spend a lot of time studying. One thing you should know about me is that I am very patient. I am quick to react in an emergency but I think it's important for children express their emotions and by doing that they learn how to handle different situations. My skills include keeping good hygiene, keeping the child safe while entertaining them, and stimulating creativity.
