I have been in the early childhood education and development field as a parent educator, an infant and toddler caregiver, and an infant and toddler sleep consultant for over 40 years. I love spending time with infants and toddlers and love talking with parents about parenting! I have a degree in early childhood education and development and have been trained in postpartum care, infant and toddler care, breastfeeding support, nutrition, and childbirth education. I currently teach newborn care classes at Yale New Haven Health and have a private practice offering infant and toddler sleep consultations to families all over the country. You can find my website at Early Parenting Sleep Support. I am the mother of three grown children and the grandma to two wonderful grandchildren and feel very fortunate to live close enough to see my grandkids regularly. If you are looking for a kind, gentle, experienced caregiver to spend time with your little one, I'd love the opportunity to meet!

You would be hard pressed to find a better, more attentive caregiver than Elizabeth. We have been so lucky to have Elizabeth (La La to our one year old) with us for the last six months. Elizabeth joined our family during a turbulent time and it felt like things became almost instantly more manageable and the weeks more enjoyable thanks to the many different ways she supports our son and by extension, us! Elizabeth’s impact on our son’s days and his development is immeasurable. She ensures his days are filled with developmentally appropriate activities, healthy snacks and meals, and lots of joy. Her gentle guidance on his nap and sleep schedule has helped us brave the transition from two naps to one and from early morning wakings to a much more reasonable hour to start the day. Truly, there’s no topic she cannot offer advice on and she has a way of sharing her experience and expertise that is always helpful and never in a way that inhibits our own parental instincts or preferences. If it weren’t for the fact that our employment situation is shifting to necessitate five-day-a-week care and the fact that we made a financial commitment to a daycare before meeting Elizabeth, we would absolutely not end our current contract with her. We count ourselves so lucky to have had these six months with her and look forward to continuing to work with her whenever possible. She is one-of-a-kind and an amazing partner for parents and caregiver to children. We are always happy to speak to potential clients, so please don’t hesitate to ask Elizabeth for our contact information to share a recommendation.
