About Elizabeth

Hello! I am looking for families who want to keep their children learning during the summer. Most of my experience caring for children is through volunteer work. I have taught vocal lessons and stage presence, and have tutored math and computer science to children from elementary to college ages. I am also a camp counselor at OKC Rock Camp for Girls (ages 7-17). One of the things I am most proud of in my life was helping a painfully shy, anxious 7-year-old to sing a rock song SHE had written in front of hundreds of people. It opened my eyes to empower her and help her overcome her fears. All children deserve to feel confident. So whether you child needs help with math, wants to learn how to program, imagines themselves as the next Taylor Swift, or just needs some confidence building, I am happy to help! I'll supply the lessons and supplies, I feel comfortable teaching multiple children at one time, can cook a mean grilled-cheese and am good with pets (I have 3 big dogs).
