My experience working with children began at an early age. As early as junior high I began baby-sitting children around my neighborhood. During high school I was on the cheer squad and every summer we held a children's cheer camp. It was always such a great experience and I loved working with children from the community. When I began college I joined a club that held after- school programs teaching Spanish to elementary school age children. I would be responsible for up to 30 children at a time and would lead a lesson as well as organize games and crafts. I also have experience volunteering at Allen Elementary in Garden Grove. I love children and I hope one day to become a school teacher. I believe that working as a nanny is great experience for becoming a teacher as well as a personal joy.
