I have dedicated my professional life to working with children ages 0-5. I have taught preschool, directed a large Child Care center and owned a small preschool. Now I am looking to downsize to a couple families that I can help make learning through play a fun experience. I love hands on, active learning and outdoor fieldtrips. I think dramatic play and dress up is awesome and building toys are the best. I love sensory play like water/sand/buckets/scoops and I believe in super limited screen time. Readers are leaders and books are the door to the imagination. Songs, rhymes and finger plays are great ways to learn and enjoy life. I love libraries, parks, and walks. I am intentional, organized, orderly, able to multitask and have a good knowledge of child development. The family I currently serve near Meridian Costco has my commitment for Mon through Thurs and I have requested to be off Fridays. I am seeking another child under 2 to add to our play. Buffy is the best nanny a family could ask for. She is dedicated and passionate about the growth and development of children. She is punctual, caring, and professional. She works with our children with compassion and understanding and really focuses on teaching them to problem solve, be independent, and work with kindness. She reads to them every day, the other day they read 21 stories together! She believes and follows through in limited screen time, and gives them so much access to play. She focuses on outdoor time at our request and will keep our boys engaged and entertained with their world. She teaches them problem solving, empathy, routine, and kindness. She has been a tremendous influence in our boys' lives and we truly appreciate her knowledge, compassion, and dedication to her life work and our family. We love Miss Buffy.
