I have over 25 years of experience working with children. I have raised two wonderful children of my own and now love helping other families. I am a trained preschool teacher and have over 25 years of experience working with children of various ages. I also have experience cooking and doing light housework (e. g., dishes, laundry, etc.). Elizabeth is a modern day Mary Poppins!  As a working mom, all I want is to know that my children are well taken care of and feel loved.  Nothing ever compares to mom... but from day 1, Elizabeth came in and took wonderful care of my two boys.  She was always on time, willing to go above and beyond with little / no direction - sweeping the floor, folding laundry, doing dishes before the kids got home from school. My boys were disappointed on days that she didn't come!  This is not a hobby for her... this is a career and she takes it very seriously.  She remembers birthdays and brings treats for holidays.  She even wrapped all of my Christmas gifts!  My childcare needs changed which is the only reason that she is not working with me right now.  But I would hire her back in a second.  I loved our conversations and her smiling face... I feel lucky to still call her part of our family!

I think the expression goes...fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. 

We have had two instances where we have hired Elizabeth, but it never came to be.  The first time we thought we had an agreed upon arrangement and then she changed things up so we parted ways.  The most recent experience was this month (Dec. 2021) and after she committed to a full time week with us she "remembered" she committed to another family and cancelled on us a week or so later. 

She seemed very pleasant, but not dependable.  She appears scattered at times so perhaps we dodged a bullet.

Elizabeth cared for our 1 year old daughter and occasionally for our 3 year old son. We cannot say enough good things about Elizabeth! She is warm, compassionate, and amazing with the kids. She even taught our daughter sign language! She was always happy to help with housework or anything that was needed. We always felt very safe knowing that Elizabeth was taking care of our kids and came home to a stress-free house. I would highly recommend Elizabeth!

Elizabeth has been such an asset to our family. My two little girls love her and I am at ease knowing the girls are being well cared for when she is here. She is responsible, punctual and engages my little ones. I highly recommend Elizabeth.

Elizabeth has been a part of our family for over a year.  We are so sad to be leaving NJ and leaving her!  She is extremely caring, watchful, and professional towards our two year old.  She surprises him with little toys and his favorite foods, asking for nothing in return, just because she loves him so! She also has been instrumental in keeping our household together, including making our dinners, folding our laundry, and packing food for my son's daycare.  She follows instructions well and if she has finished her work duties, she will find other things to do in order to help out that aren't part of her formal responsibilities. I hope she finds the best new family because she deserves only the best!

Elizabeth started watching my son after my maternity leave when he was 4 months until he was 16 months old.  If we weren't moving out of state, she would still be our nanny!  She takes care of our son like he is her own.  Elizabeth is extremely reliable and when she's says she's going to do something, she sticks to her word.  She likes to keep busy so when he's napping, she'll be doing laundry, organizing his toys, or loading/unloading the dishwasher.  It's hard to find someone you trust with your kids but with Elizabeth, I have peace of mind while I'm working or if we go out on date night I am relaxed knowing he's with her!  Don't miss out on a great, reliable nanny for your kids!   We were very lucky to find her and can only hope our next nanny is like her.
