About Elizabeth

I have been drawn to taking care of others from a young age. Some of my earliest memories are of being a caretaker to my younger sister. She is part of why I am naturally a nurturer. This school year, I worked at a high school as a paraprofessional 2 where I helped kids with their academic and behavioral needs. I am so grateful for being able to make a difference. I'd describe my personality as down to earth, kind and intuitive. I like working with kids because they have a different way of seeing the world and sometimes it is the best way of seeing things. I'm looking for a job that challenges me with something new everyday. I started working with kids when I was 15 years old. In my spare time, I like to be out in nature. One thing you should know about me is I am not too lenient when it comes to disrespectful behavior. My skills include knowing how to help regulate a child who is dis-regulated, understanding their needs, and keeping their best interest as my priority.
