About Elizabeth

I'm a very involved granddaughter who ran out of grandparents to accompany to the doctor, style for church, and take on field trips to Walmart. My experience with elderly besties is actually extensive, although I've never been paid. I took my grandma in her late eighties to various stores around town and made sure to watch out for her safety, hydration, and emotional energy level. Back in the day, when my grandpa with dementia used to take swings at us, I learned to duck and laugh it off. Over time I've learned that not every adult child has the time to spend with mom or dad, and that someone like me with extra love to give can provide a sense of peace.
