About Elizabeth

Experience: 10 yrs

COVID-19 vaccinated

At age 26, I chose to move into my Grandma's home and care for her so that she would not have to go into a nursing home. She was the most important person in my life. She was a stroke victim, had severe dementia, debilitating arthritis and Parkinson's disease. She was completely bedridden. It is the most rewarding thing I've ever done. I worked in retail sales, management, and buying for many years until on-line shopping came along. I have cared for many clients in the past 10 years, most with some form of dementia. I belong to an Alzheimer's support group. I am a kind, patient and loving person. I'm very compassionate, dependable, and honest. I will care for your loved one as a family member. I have worked for many families independently and I've worked for an agency. I have done everything from companion care to Hospice care. I am CRP and first aid trained. Caring for and about other people is what I do best. My availability is quite open.

Apologies for not having written this sooner - but with all the emergencies for our mother's care - it just totally fell off my radar. Our family hired Beth for assistance with caring for our Mother on an extended visit to Detroit at our sister's home. Our Mother had severe Dementia and major mobility issues at that time in 2018 (she has since passed a few months ago in 2019). We luckily found Beth and she came through for us in spades - she is an amazing person - full of empathy and compassion and an ideal example of what is great about our human race. It can be a difficult thing to trust a total stranger to come into your home and We were so fortunate the stars aligned to bring us Beth during that emergency period and such a trying time for our family - we can never thank her enough for coming to the rescue.
