About Elizabeth

As a Teach For America instructor, I've worked closely with K-6 learners in one-on-one and small-group settings. My tutoring style is warm, encouraging, and patient. I focus on helping children build confidence while strengthening their math foundations. I tailor each session to the student's pace, whether they need extra practice, clear explanations, or support with math anxiety. Parents describe me as reliable, communicative, and consistent. I began tutoring in 2021 through volunteer work and joined Teach For America in late 2023, where I've continued supporting elementary learners. I love tutoring because it allows me to help students discover what they're capable of. I'm looking for a role where I can support young learners consistently and build strong, positive partnerships with families. One thing to know about me is that I'm deeply committed to igniting confidence in children and creating a safe, encouraging space for them to learn and grow.
