Making a positive impact on the lives of others is my passion. My background in mental health, particularly the last decade as a School Counselor, has given me valuable insight into providing compassionate care. I have a deep desire to support the elder population and ensure they receive the dignity they deserve. I am patient, calm, and approachable. I prioritize open communication with families, following their preferred method for updates on their loved one's well-being. Building a connection with families means following their lead and honoring their preferences. I am experienced in adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion or behavioral changes with compassion. I have spent the last 15 years in the mental health field and hold a Graduate degree in counseling. I can assist with transportation, errands, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and mobility assistance. I hope to bring my skills to your family to provide peace of mind.
