About Elissa

Empowering young learners to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. By actively observing how a student interacts with new material and maintaining open communication, I tailor my approach to suit their unique needs. I keep students engaged by celebrating small successes and encouraging curiosity through interactive discussions. My goal is to help your child develop the critical thinking skills necessary for long-term academic success. I hold a college degree and have experience supporting elementary students in English and History. Since I have experience with challenging students, I would love to help you with your students! Watching a child's confidence grow as they master new skills is what makes this work so rewarding for me. I look forward to supporting your family's educational journey.
