About Elissa

With over 10 years of experience both as a special needs parent and educator, I am available to work with your child on school work, organization and summer work. I am certified in elementary education grades 1-6 and hold a Master's in Ed from the University of Maryland. I have experience working with ADHD/ASD students as well as neuro-typical students. Most of my experience is with elementary school age children but am happy to work with any age student. I tailor my tutoring to fit your child's needs including location, breaking down work into manageable parts and learning style. As a parent of 2 special needs children, I understand where you as the parent are coming from and understand how difficult it can be to find the right fit for your child. I hope with my life and professional experience I can be that person for you & your child! I love nothing more than helping children of all abilities reach their potential!!
