About Elise

Fostering growth and creativity in children has been the driving force behind my 12-year career in education. After spending 12 years as an elementary classroom teacher, I am taking a year off to rebalance myself mentally and physically. I hold a Masters degree in Teaching: Curriculum and Instruction. My approach incorporates lots of fun, patience, and creativity. I am eager to apply my background to a more personalized setting, specifically focusing on homeschooling children in grades 1-4. Whether we are exploring academic concepts or engaging in imaginative arts and crafts, I prioritize a supportive environment. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules and am happy to assist with carpooling. I always follow your preferred communication method to ensure we are aligned on your child's progress. I look forward to bringing my passion for learning into your home to help your child thrive this year!
