I have had over 8 years of experience in childcare and I am currently an assistant at a licensed daycare . I have always loved working with children and have had many families I have cared for over the years. I always try to make an adventure out of my time with the kid(s) I am watching. Whether that is going outside and finding things to do or going in the car to go to a playground or other fun excursions. I love letting the kids show me what they like to do and trying to also turn it into a learning experience for us all. I try to avoid large amounts of screen time for children I am watching no matter the age. The times I make exceptions would be if it was poor weather outside or it was at a designated "game time". So when the weather is nice and parents allow it I try to take the children I am watching out as much as I can and let them grow in new and exciting environments!

Elise is a rock-star with kids of all ages. She is so patient, nurturing, and engaging with any kid she cares for. She knows how to create an atmosphere of fun and learning. It is natural and effortless for her to draw kids out of their shell. I have witnessed her dealing with difficult children, and she does so sternly with loads of empathy and grace - and the kids listen and respond with gentleness! Magic. She is by far one of the best caretakers and babysitters I have come across. I would highly recommend her to anyone!
