I have experience working in nursing homes in different capacities. I especially enjoyed working as an Activities Assistant in a skilled nursing unit of a new facility upon it's opening several years ago. Though I have my degree in Sociology and will be going back for my Masters in Public Administration, I originally wanted to go to school for Healthcare Administration so I could be a director for a nursing home! (Who knows, I may still go back for healthcare! LOL) I am very passionate about making people smile and helping those who are in need so I honestly love working with any population, but have a soft spot for seniors!
