About Elise

I've always enjoyed working with children and have had several opportunities where I can care for them, introduce them to new interests, grow with them, and find the balance between safety, fun and proper supervision. I enjoy arts and crafts, baking and cooking, science experiments and trips to the playground. I love teaching and learning and have a wide range of semi-useless, self-taught skills from balloon crafting to unicycling to sewing (especially fun costumes and plushies). I love books, board games, musicals, and cartoons. I value the importance of quiet, independent indoor time as well as expending energy outside and exploring nature. I don't mind cooking or light cleaning and am always willing to help with homework and chores. I have experience with pickups/dropoffs for extracurriculars and coordinating playdates with parents or other caregivers. I hope to work for a kind and thoughtful family, and not just be there for their children, but help enrich their lives.
