My name is Elise, I am 25 and graduated from DePaul University. I have been working in marketing for the past four years and am in between jobs at the moment. I absolutely adore working with kids, I have worked for a couple summers as a day camp counselor in Riverside, Illinois at a camp with more than 50 children in attendance at a time. At camp I was responsible not only for the campers' safety and supervision, but also for planning all of the day's activities, so I have a wide repertoire of fun games and crafts up my sleeve! In addition to being a camp counselor, I was a teaching assistant at Oscar Mayer Magnet school in Lincoln Park for a year at their after-school program, Club Bulldog. I have been babysitting since I was 13, and have nanny experience for a family who had an infant and a toddler, a family with twin 5 yr old boys and their 7 yr old brother, a 6 yr old boy, another family with a toddler and infant, and several other babysitting jobs.

Elise has a wonderful approach to caring for our 6 year old son. She was supportive and patient with homework, made healthy snacks, followed our night-time routine to the T and actively played football, baseball, scooters or the activity of choice. We've not had a sitter so happy to actively engage before, and recognize that Elise is very special. She's always prompt, never on her cellphone and gives full reports.
