About Elisabeth

After Jorja underwent surgery in the fall of 2022, we hired Elisabeth (Lisa) to be her daytime caregiver. Caring for Jorja was a significant and essential responsibility, and I needed someone who would understand her unique health requirements. Lisa was willing to provide the daily support our family needed, allowing me to continue working as a piano technician. This support included administering medications, transporting Jorja to appointments, preparing meals, doing laundry, and light household cleaning. Lisa's skills have not only met our needs but have also been a true blessing for us. In addition to her caregiving duties, she began assisting me with the administrative side of my business. Describing her contributions as simply "filling these needs" does not fully capture her exceptional attention to detail, careful management of medications, willingness to transport Jorja to appointments, and her seamless integration into our family, where she is loved like a daughter. When my health began to decline, Lisa stepped in to support both my wife and me. I hesitate to use the term "caregiver" because Lisa’s role was so much more than that. It is difficult to adequately express how much we relied on her help and how she responded to our chaotic situation with love, compassion, and a willingness to assist. Lisa has been with us faithfully for almost three years, and we hold her in the highest regard. It was only when Jorja's health needs required a more skilled nursing environment that Lisa decided to move on and seek another individual or family who needed her assistance.
