About Elinor

Hello! My name is Elinor and I just moved to the Bay Area to teach at a local middle school where I teach 7th grade English and 8th grade math. Prior to moving here, I lived in Maine for five years and worked at a boarding school as a teacher, coach, and dorm parent. I grew up in DC and am the eldest of four children. In middle school I became a primary caretaker of my younger siblings in single parent household. I love working with children of all ages and have been babysitting since age 12 and have babysat for up to four kids at a time. As I just moved here, I am looking for work after the school day and on the weekends. I can help around the house, with tutoring, etc. I have babysat kids ages 0-18. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I love organizing and cleaning!
